Here is a sign that is recognized in many places. I feel fortunate that Leominster has a Harley Davidson store/shop. I don't need to travel far to get those chrome pieces I love.

This sign is one of the newer ones in Leominster. When this went up it created a lots of controversy. People were complaining that it was distracting to drivers. I myself do not find it distracting and think there are worst distractions such as cell phones.
More snow, I don't think it has stopped at all since Friday afternoon.
Sunday’s Sign #3
For Sunday's Sign I have Plaza Car Wash. I've asked around and no one could tell me exactly how long this car wash has been here. The best answer I got was that it was here when my dad moved here from Canada. That makes it over 40 years that this one has been around.
The car wash is one where you drive your car onto a track and put your car in neutral. The track will bring you through the car wash cleaning your car. At the end the car wash employs high school kids that towel dry your car.

Sunday Sign #1
Signs fascinate me, especially old ones. There was an era of neon signs that I think is long gone. A time when a sign was used to capture your interest and draw you in. Every Sunday I will post a sign from the area. Some will be unique, others not so much. Hope you enjoy!
The first sign I will put up is this one from Tri Town Drive-in Theater. This sign will be coming down soon as the drive-in has had it's last season. Replacing it will multi-family residences of some sort.
