Leominster held it's third annual Holiday Stroll this past Saturday. Leominster use to hold first night activities jointly with the city of Fitchburg on new years eve. Because of escalating costs, neither city hosts first night anymore. Instead Leominster holds these strolls and festivals throughout the year.
Strolling through down town you can find hot cocoa, roasted chestnuts, Santa Claus, music, pony rides as well as samples from local businesses. Pictured above is the Merrimack Valley Ringers ringing out Christmas songs.

My World
My 7 year old daughter is an avid reader. It has gotten to the point that I need to take her to the library every couple of weeks where she picks out roughly 10 books.
The Leominster Public Library has recently gone through a 10.8 million dollar renovation. This project preserved and restored the library's historic 1910 building while adding a new 3 story 34,434 square foot addition. This is a picture of the new addition.
