Off Season
Went down to the twelfth street ballpark where I played for one season as a kid. Wasn't much of a baseball player, hockey was more my sport. My nephew plays a bunch of sports, baseball being one of them. I'm amazed at how competitive it has become. They have one or two games a week during the season. They practice all year round though. During the season they will have a practice every day that there isn't a game. Then in the off season the meet once a week at the indoor batting cages. When I played we only had one game and one practice per week.
Good or bad, hard to say. I'd have to say good in the sense that it keeps some kids out of trouble. What do you think?
