Old Sturbridge Village

old_covered_bridge

Today we went to Old Sturbridge Village. The village represents a rural New England town in the 1830's. On the property are homes, meetinghouses, a district school, country store, bank, law office, printing office, carding mill, sawmill, gristmill, pottery, blacksmith shop, shoe shop, and cooper shop. Authentically costumed staff are found through out the property.

  4. A taste of the past. Unusually for me, I actually think sepia might enhance the sense of history.
