Jackie’s Dairy Bar
We have another victim of the times. A couple of weeks ago I posted about Roma Bakery closing here. Now it is Jackie's Dairy Bar that has closed.
This one was quite a surprise around town. Judging by the stack of news paper bundles at the front door it appears that even vendors were unaware. Jackie's has been on the corner of Main St. and Nashua St. for as long as I can remember (I'm talking in the 70's now). My family and I spent many summer nights making a run to Jackie's to get some ice cream. We will surely miss Jackie's!
P.S. Sorry for not posting much last week. I was on call last weekend and also had a sick baby. I just didn't have time to go out and capture photo's.

So sad. We drove through our town the other day and in one area consisting of three blocks, three major restaurants have closed in the past few months.

Surprises to see Jackie’s closed. Another victim of the economy. Wonder who’s next ?
